Description:
The Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for strategic alignment between HR strategy and business goals and objectives of the organization’s consulting business. This role focuses on employee relations, compliance and aligning HR and business strategy. Working as a trusted advisor and critical liaison to the consulting business, the Senior HRBP enhances both employee success and overall business performance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in Human Resourcessupporting a geographically dispersed organization
- Experience working in a consulting business with multiple lines of service preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferred degree in Human Resources
- PHR/SPHR or other HR Certification preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:
- Collaborates and has ongoing interaction with leadership to understand consulting goals to support alignment of HR strategies with business goals and to advocate for support needed from Shared Services to enable achievement of the consulting goals.
- Serves as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns or conflicts. Guides leadership in handling disciplinary actions, retention, managing employee performance and improving employee engagement.
- Collaborates with the People Team and Legal Team to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Coaches executives, managers, and employees on policies and procedures to ensure adherence to federal and state law.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, andlocal employment laws. Recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Provides training and counsel to employees on employee relations, performance management, effective coaching, and other HR functional areas as requested.
- Provides strategic, business-focused service on all matters related to employee engagement and retention, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations.
- Analyzes HR metrics, employee feedback and engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives, identify trends, recommend improvements, enhance workplace culture, and inform decision making
