We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team. This position will not only have its own partnership areas but will also provide line management oversight and coaching to a team of HR Business Partners and Assistant HR Business Partners (both remotely and in person). You will work together to ensure a unified business partnering approach and encourage the sharing of best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources /CIPD Level 7 or demonstratable experience
• Proven work experience as a strategically focussed HR Business Partner or similar role within an operational environment.
• Demonstratable experience managing and developing HR teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Previous experience working within an engineering or operations environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work across the full lifecycle, remaining ‘hands-on’ as well as thinking bigger picture
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and establish credibility at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience working in a unionised environment.
• Experience effectively managing complex er cases to resolution.
• An affirmed understanding regarding CIPD best practices and UK employment legislation.Ability to travel to our other port, in Southampton, regularly.
