Overview:
Are you a motivated, analytical, and knowledgeable Human Resources professional? Is working with people and providing an excellent work experience your passion? We are hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to be a part of our team. Keep reading to find out if this is the ideal role for you!
In this integral role you will deliver on our people-based initiatives and provide support in areas such as employee relations, talent management, procedure and policy interpretation, performance management and rewards.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Strategically partner with leaders to execute a comprehensive talent strategy.
  • Drive the implementation of HR programs and initiatives that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Participate in full cycle recruitment to ensure we continually hire quality talent for our teams.
  • Drive the employee experience, including onboarding, employee engagement, career development, performance management, compensation management, and offboarding.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, employment law, and conflict resolution. Play a meaningful role in enhancing leadership effectiveness across your client group.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, develop insights, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Keep current on industry trends and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and practices.
  • Support change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement with employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of business strategies and initiatives.

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in an HRBP role ideally within financial services or insurance
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with ability to adapt to various environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess situations and make decisions based on data while drawing from previous experience.
  • Ability to influence and have impact on key decisions by demonstrating deep subject matter expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters in a professional way.
  • Customer-focused mind-set, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Labour laws, policies, procedures, compliance and practices related to workplace health and safety, employment standards act, etc.
