QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent
  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment law is essential
  • Experience in a HR Generalist or Manager position, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Select HR, etc

Responsibilities:

To be a strategic partner for manufacturing site, supporting associates and managers by ensuring growth and development. Implement programs to contribute to the business success, empowering our people by developing leaders and associates, inspiring and creating a great place to work.

The HR Manager will have a direct impact on our Operations group, responsible for:

  • To be strategic partners in driving effective human resources management
  • Define HR strategy for manufacturing site
  • Implement HR metrics and define actions to improve
  • Implement strategies to motivate, engage and retain associates
  • Improve processes
  • Define development plans for associates by IC reviews
  • Train and Coach managers and associates on HR processes (recruitment, on-boarding, development, performance, compensation, recognition)
  • Execute skip level sessions
  • Reinforce policies and behaviors to ensure strong culture based on people
  • Develop and empower team members
  • Complete Ethics & GIS investigations
  • In charge of compensation processes
