The NISC IV Training Group under the National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst in Washington DC. This role will assist the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Office of Finance and Management (AFN) in the development of financial management procedures, policy for financial manuals, training materials, and a Q&A site.
Specific assignments for the role include:
- Assisting with research to verify existing AFN policies comply with FAA policies and government regulations.
- Participating in gathering of requirements for updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Desk Guides, User Guides, financial guidance and other policy documentation.
- Working on SOP revisions based on non-compliant issues identified.
- Recommending implementation strategies for SOP and financial guidance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field that included at least 24 semester hours in some combination of accounting, business, finance, purchasing, and quantitative methods.
- 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
- Experience creating training materials or providing training.
- Previous work as a team member assisting operations or logistics to the FAA or other Federal Agencies.
