Senior IBM BAW/BPM Software Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Several years of professional experience and strong proficiency across all areas of IBM BAW/BPM and best practices standards to provide insights on problems across functional areas
• Experience in designing processes, process improvement, administration, configuration, implementation, testing and support of IBM BPM solutions
• Experience in IBM BPM development including UI design coach view
• Strong proficiency in using IBM BPM REST Service and Web Service
• Good knowledge of relational database systems and SQL language
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL Server using Oracle complex functions and writing complex queries would be a plus
• Experience in performance optimization both in frontend and backend side
• Excellent programming skills using JavaScript, XML/SOAP and JSON/REST API
• Proficiency in Java programming would be an additional advantage
• General Systems Analyst experience
• DevOps & DevSecOps experience
• Proactive, self-driven and highly enthusiastic
• Experience in Agile methodology and Scrum/Kanban frameworks (in our case based on JIRA and Confluence)
• Experience with system maintenance in production support organization
• Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to identify business risks and compliance issues and design proactive solutions
• Strong understanding of Software Delivery lifecycle,
• Good understanding of Continuous Integration \ Continuous Delivery model & best practices

• Analyse, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production
• Tends to Associate Application Engineers by providing learning tasks as well as work related tasks and helps them continue to grow
• Achieves team commitments (and influence others to do the same) by using informal leadership & highly developed communication skills
• Has an oversight on design decisions and guides team to achieve key results for products assigned to them
• Remediates issues using engineering principles and creates proactive design solutions for potential failures
• Documents detail level design specifications and code changes
• Proactively identify and manage the risks, with proposed plan of remediation
• Provide mentoring and guidance
• Participate in audits
• Interact with the customers and stakeholders on a regular basis
• Must be able to provide expert consultancy to customers
• Compliance with Group policies and standards
