Are you an expert in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) looking to advance your career with a leading firm in Luxembourg? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated IFRS Consultant to join the team of a prestigious client.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with IFRS in a consulting or corporate role.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS standards and their application.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages such as French or German are a plus.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an IFRS Consultant, you will be a crucial member of our client’s advisory team, providing high-level support and expertise to their diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with IFRS and to optimize their financial reporting processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide expert advice on IFRS-related matters to clients across various industries.
  • Assist clients in the implementation and interpretation of IFRS standards.
  • Conduct IFRS impact assessments and support clients through the transition processes.
  • Develop and deliver IFRS training programs for clients and internal teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in IFRS and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure IFRS compliance.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as necessary.
