QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with IFRS in a consulting or corporate role.
- Strong understanding of IFRS standards and their application.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages such as French or German are a plus.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an IFRS Consultant, you will be a crucial member of our client’s advisory team, providing high-level support and expertise to their diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with IFRS and to optimize their financial reporting processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert advice on IFRS-related matters to clients across various industries.
- Assist clients in the implementation and interpretation of IFRS standards.
- Conduct IFRS impact assessments and support clients through the transition processes.
- Develop and deliver IFRS training programs for clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in IFRS and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure IFRS compliance.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as necessary.
