SUMMARY STATEMENT
Against the backdrop of increasing demands on reporting and the development of governance processes within the framework of financial reporting, we are looking for a Senior IFRS Expert (f/m/d) to expand our Group Accounting team, with a focus on Accounting Principles, as soon as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successfully completed subject-specific degree with a clear reference to group accounting
- Excellent knowledge of international accounting (IFRS)
- Relevant professional experience (at least 8 years) in transaction advisory, audit-related consulting, or auditing
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of SAP or experience with SAP FI is desirable
- Analytical skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and a high solution orientation
- Fluent in German and English
Responsibilities:
- Technical coordination and responsibility for implementing requirements within the framework of financial reporting; involvement in the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements
- Evaluation of new statutory accounting regulations and their impact on reporting
- Support of subsidiaries in all accounting matters as well as coordination activities in complex tax issues
- Contact person for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., shareholders, auditors, regulatory authorities, etc.)
- Preparation of complex special analyses and evaluations, derivation of measures and proposals including possible risk/opportunity assessments
- Development, application, and control of uniform accounting and group policies within the group
- Proactive assessment of business processes and their impact on group accounting
- Leading and participating in projects related to the strategic development of the group
- Preparation and execution of additional internal and external reports such as bank reports or management reports
- Creation and updating of training materials and implementation of appropriate training measures within the group
