Description:
Responsible for the day to day management of the information governance and access to records teams and ensure the service is comprehensive and legally sound as well as delivering a responsive service ensuring that statutory timeframes are upheld. The post holder will lead on the monitoring of information processing against agreed standards by supporting team members undertaking inspection and audits of records management, data security and confidentiality arrangements within the organisation To provide expert advice on national IG, Records Management and Data Protection strategies and complex legislation affecting the Trust and proactively work with department and service managers and other stakeholders to ensure that IG and data protection processes meet the business requirement of the Trust.
