Description:
cFocus Software seeks a Senior Imagery Analyst to join our program supporting DHS in Washington, DC, Capital Heights, MD, and Springfield, VA. This position has remote capabilities. This position requires active TS/SCI clearance and must meet 8570 requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of specialized Imagery Analysis experience
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Active Security+CE certification.
Duties:
- Analyzes remote sensing content developed or captured by photographic and electronic means.
- Prepares maps, charts, reports and other imagery related media using computer systems and imagery exploitation software.
- Applies remote sensing principles and methods when analyzing content and provides recommendations specific to DHS mission area (i.e. natural disaster response, law enforcement operations, etc.)
- Plans and coordinates imagery collection to meet a variety of DHS missions (i.e. natural disaster response, law enforcement operations, etc.).
- Compiles materials and prepares presentations for use in briefings, white papers, and other decision-making artifacts.
- Leverage multiple sensing technologies to provide timely, accurate, complete, and structured image exploitation in a compressed time frame.
- Works across multiple teams and geospatial disciplines to support DHS imagery requirements.
- Supervises work efforts of junior imagery analysts team members.
- Provides training and technical guidance to other members of the team to maintain proficiency.
- Maintains knowledge of current and emerging remote sensing capabilities, best practices, and programs in order to provide recommendations to DHS.
