About the team:
In addition to working with other Senior Consultants in the Ireland practice, this role will specifically see the successful candidate serve as principal client contact for an identified major technology client. This will involve advising the client (in conjunction with manager) on technical aspects of Irish immigration, managing ramps and becoming a subject matter expert in the client’s immigration programme and needs. This role will be generally dedicated to this single client and will support the manager in managing a team of consultants, along with deputising in their absence.

About the role:
The Senior Consultant will work closely with the Manager in their team to assist with certain management tasks where appropriate. You will also manage intake of cases directly and progress cases from end-to-end.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Assists Manager with case reviews where appropriate
  • Advice on complex matters under the supervision of the Manager, if required
  • Ensuring applications are accurate
  • Spot and rectify technical or procedural issues
  • Ensure all cases on WIP reports are billed correctly and assists Manager to ensure consistent, efficient, and real-time billing for the team
  • Full support to clients (case working and strategic advice)
  • Actively manages client relationships
  • Leading client presentations
  • Responsible for the provision of technical/procedural updates to clients
  • Acts as a key point of contact with the Manager on clients
  • Ensures that clients SLAs are consistently met and reviews and finalises root cause analyses for Managers
  • Leads client meetings without supervision from a Manager
  • Mentors and trains team members and new starters
  • Oversees status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems
  • Special projects (client or operational)
  • Delegation of client reporting requirements
  • Troubleshooting client issues for the team and proactively identifies potential issues in a timely fashion
  • Oversees the management of status reports for assigned clients

About you:
The ideal person for this role will be a self-starter with a strong background in similar roles and excellent organisational skills. You will also be an excellent communicator both written and verbally and able to manage your own time effectively.

Also required:

  • Previous immigration experience is essential
  • Strong interest in immigration, as well as the desire to further career within this field
  • Client facing skills and experience are required
  • Proven ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active
  • Strong listening skills
