Description:

ABOUT WAGESTREAM

Wagestream is dedicated to improving the financial wellbeing of frontline workers.
We partner with renowned employers such as Asda, Burger King, Hilton, and the NHS to provide their teams with fairer financial services centered around flexible pay. Our all-in-one financial wellbeing super-app empowers over 3 million people to choose when they get paid, track their shifts and earnings, save for a rainy day, utilize budgeting tools, receive free financial coaching, and access fairer financial products.
Wagestream stands out as a VC-backed company experiencing rapid growth, while also maintaining a social conscience and charity support. Our founding investors include the leading financial charities and impact funds in the UK. We operate on a social charter, ensuring that every product we develop enhances financial health and reduces the $5.6bn financial services “premium” paid annually by lower-income earners.
By joining our team of over 150 passionate individuals, you will contribute to our mission of building a category-leading fintech product. We are united by our commitment to improving financial wellbeing for all.

What experience might you have? (But if you’re close… we’d still love to talk to you!)

  • Passion for our mission
  • Proactive and solution-focused mindset, with a blend of technical and business acumen
  • Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation projects, preferably in a similar fintech or technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion within defined timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build relationships and effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams
  • Experience in managing client expectations and addressing client concerns
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, SFTP, and Single Sign-O

Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility will be managing the client’s implementation journey. You will:

  • Build positive relationships with customers such as Halfords, Asda, Bupa, Burger King, and the NHS. As a trusted advisor, you will help shape decisions and timeframes for an optimal launch.
  • Drive effective internal communication and collaboration within the project team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Address objections and guide prospective clients towards Wagestream’s best practices and tailored solutions.
  • Simplify and explain integration principles to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and buy-in.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize data transfer (SFTP and APIs) between systems, aiming to enhance the end-user experience.
  • Proactively identify and address key risks and issues in projects, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Take ownership by identifying blind spots, optimizing problem-solving approaches, and keeping colleagues informed of progress.
  • Actively contribute to enhancing team best practices, documentation, and internal processes.
