Your role at Clorox:
Coordinate and supervise that the supply chain is made on time, following the guideline of customs legislation within the standardized import and export procedures pre-established in the company.
In this role, you will:
The Sr. Imports / Exports Analyst must have solid experience in Imports/Exports operational dynamics, should be updated on customs and on exchange regulations to carry out actions and / or recommendations in complex scenarios.
It is essential for the Sr. Imports / Exports Analyst to manage effective internal communication, to integrate foreign trade operations with stakeholders, to transmit instructions to suppliers, customs agents, carriers, foreign customers to ensure correct compliance with the requirements Customs offices for the entry and exit of merchandise from the customs territory.
The Sr. Imports / Exports Analyst is expected to promote the professional development of the Team, providing continuous support in the development of tasks, contributing to a good work environment inspired by Clorox values.
The Sr. Imports / Exports Analyst will have main responsibilities in Chile, Perú, Colombia and/or Ecuador, leading and mentoring the in-house in each country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise that Import/Export shipments are in compliance with customs legislation according to current regulations, ensuring transit times as per SLA.
  • Manage customs brokers and inhouse in both in the operational, regulatory and administrative aspects of the foreign trade operation of Clorox
  • Keep informed internal clients about delays, new regulations, issues, etc
  • Control and follow up of legal and tax customs matters.
  • Manage and report KPIs to Foreign Trade Coordinator. Implement action plans whenever a KPI is not in compliance with expected Target.
  • Calculate standard import costs, project costs, etc.
  • Active participation representing the Foreign Trade Team in different subjects such as: restrictions, logistics recommendations, regulatory & legal matters, etc Coach, mentor and promote the professional development of the Team.
  • Run monthly self-assessments to ensure shipments in compliance.

+4 years performing specifically Foreign Trade position.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills both English and Spanish
  • Strong background on Foreign Trade knowledge, Import/Export current legislation, international logistic and supply chain process.

  • Work collaboratively with both internal / external sources
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize work requirements

Education Level / Degree:
International Trade – License Degree or equivalent working experience.
