Description:

Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior In-Vehicle Validation Engineer to lead the execution of tests in electronic engineering for infotainment systems and online media connectivity/services for ICE and electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for error analysis, tracking error tickets, evaluating test results, presenting findings to customers, and coordinating test drives both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the team in executing tests in electronic engineering (infotainment systems and online media connectivity/services) for ICE and electric vehicles.
  • Perform error analysis and create and track error tickets.
  • Evaluate test results and document them thoroughly.
  • Present results to customers and coordinate with developers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate and participate in test drives locally and abroad.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed engineering studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automotive engineering, or equivalent training as a technician with relevant professional experience.
  • 2-5+ years of professional experience in vehicle and bench setup, verification, flashing, and validation in electronic engineering.
  • Knowledge of common troubleshooting/ticketing tools such as ODIS, IDEX, Doors, Jira, KPM, and CANOe.
  • Understanding of trace and communication tools such as Serial 2, HMI monitor, DLT viewer, Tele motive blue pirate, CAN Buses, Broad-R-Reach, and Serial Communications, Ethernet.
  • Knowledge of flashing and software updates to in-vehicle components.
  • Enjoys working in an intercultural environment and has a passion for new technologies.
  • High level of analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.

Desirable Qualifications

  • ISTQB certification.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.67/hour - $54.18/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis
