Senior Inbound Operations Manager in Courcelles
(Permanent)

JOB SUMMARY

Represents the Deliver Operations teams for Inbound, Inventory & Returns, for all HMD products received in the European Distribution Center (EDC) in Courcelles and La Louvière, Belgium.
Responsible for coordinating and governing capacity for Inbound, Inventory and other operations processes of the warehouse via close collaboration with operations, supply chain, regional / global planning, and the franchises through the S&OP process.
Works in partnership with Franchises Regional PLAN organization, EDC Operations teams as well as QA/QC and other departments from the site. He/she will work with those teams and business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of Supply Chain objectives.
Responsible for Leading the Deliver Operations teams for Inbound, Inventory, Returns, for all HMD products received in the European Distribution Center (EDC).
Works closely with CEVA logistics the 3PL responsible for the shop floor operational execution to ensure that HMD requirements are clearly understood and reflected within the day-to-day operational execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years in Mfg and/or Logistics for health care industry required.
  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills and an understanding of business beyond core functional expertise.
  • LEAN material flow, planning & scheduling knowledge, a plus.
  • Knowledge and proficiency of ERP and/or planning tools preferred.
  • Process Excellence certification or proven working knowledge, a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with capability to query systems to extract sets of data for analysis.
  • High attention to details combined with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent use of MS Office: Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple functional organizations and levels in a multicultural and global / matrix environment.
  • Ability to minimize and manage risks appropriately.
  • Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities:

Under and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Ensure flawless execution of EDC Inbound, Inventory & Returns operations.
  • Ensure key operational KPI’s and distribution / supply chain targets are being met.
  • Identify, lead and execute opportunities to drive continuous improvement of the inbound operations ensuring metrics are in place to demonstrate operational performance and improvements.
  • Plan and align with operations on capacity for inbound / inventory via S&OP forum
  • Participate in Executive S&OP review to understand forecast deviation and assess future capacity need for Inbound and Inventory.
  • Ensure weekly reviews on Deliver Operational metrics with Regional Plan and Transportation teams and take action if needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes in Deliver using LEAN, 5S or other standard methodology.
  • Support or lead approved and funded projects for the site.
  • Ensure that quality compliance and EHS&S requirements are adhered to within all areas of responsibility.
  • Drive people development of team members ensuring pipeline of talents within team.
  • Identify and pro-actively mitigate risks throughout the entire supply chain.
  • Identify cost improvements to drive reduction in cost per activity for inbound operations – develop metrics to track cost of inbound operations and demonstrate savings.
  • Work closely with 3PL representing JNJ HMD inbound activities within all operational meetings both internally on site and externally.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
