WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You have a university degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- At least 4+ years of relevant experience.
- A portfolio of previous projects that highlights your expertise and creative approach is required.
- Working knowledge of Adobe CC and CAD software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Keyshot). Familiarity with materials and technology methodologies.
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
- You can effectively and persuasively communicate your conceptual ideas and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
- You are passionate about improving people’s sleep and quality of life.
- A high degree of initiative, independence, and flexibility.
- You are eager to learn and capable of bringing new and fresh ideas to the table.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate, sketch, design, visualize, develop, and prototype new products.
- Own and lead multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Optimize products with a focus on functionality, cost, CMF (Color, Material, Finish), and form.
- Utilize tools (such as Adobe CC, Rhino, SolidWorks, and Keyshot) to design and visualize products that meet Emma’s product portfolio objectives regarding functionality, form, look & feel, and material selection.
- Work closely with R&D Project Managers, Engineers, Operations, Marketing, and Country Teams to develop future products and optimize existing ones.
- Execute designs for various projects, considering customer perspectives, production limitations, cost requirements, and brand identity.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding prototyping, sample requests, and general product design and development iterations.
- Be a part of the amazing design team.
