Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist (CSSO) to join our dynamic team in Chantilly, Virginia!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or Alternate/Assistant, Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Alternate/Assistant or a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or Alternate/Assistant
  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI
  • Experience in building, accrediting, or sustaining accreditation of SCI facilities

TYPICAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure adherence to government and company regulations/requirements, identify deficiencies and develop/implement corrective action.
  • Communicates results of assessments and inspections to security management and customers and track corrective actions to completion.
  • Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes, and situations in accordance with established operating procedures and communicate results to security management and customers.
  • Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
  • Develops, implements, and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures, and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Performs Personnel Security activities and execute processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses.
  • Establishes and implement a security awareness, training, and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.
  • Performs Physical Security duties to ensure ICD 705 compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.
  • Provides stakeholder communication as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries from clients, business partners. Collaborate with program business partners and teammates to ensure the day-to-day business needs are met.
