Description:
Job Title: Lead Metadata Management Specialist (Senior Informatica Developer) Summary: The Lead Metadata Management Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing metadata management frameworks using Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform and Cloud Data Governance Catalog (CDGC). The individual in this role will establish metadata management strategies and standards; and develop self-service/crowd sourcing platform capabilities that ensure effective data cataloging, data lineage capture, business metadata enrichment, data discoverability, and data observability. Collaborating closely with technology and business stakeholders, this individual will drive the adoption of robust metadata management practices and ensure alignment with the organization’s data strategy. Responsibilities: IDMC/CDGC Metadata Strategy, Framework, and Roadmap Development CDGC Platform Optimization and Self-Service Capability Development Technical and Business Metadata Capture and Management Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Platform Adoption and Business Value Skills: 10+ years in metadata management and data catalog platform optimization, specific expertise with IDMC and CDGC is a MUST In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with data cataloging, data lineage, business glossaries, metric glossaries and other metadata management capabilities Expert understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship practices, and data quality management principles Strong understanding and experience with modern data capabilities, including cloud data storage, data lakes/lakehouses, and data virtualization Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize self-service data catalog platforms and capabilities Excellent communication and change management skills to drive enterprise adoption of metadata practice
