DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to join the governance and programme management team which supports the delivery of LLDC’s legacy plans for QEOP. You will be responsible for the management of LLDC’s Freedom of Information Act (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and Data Protection Act (DPA) request handling process and its information management and compliance processes. You will act as LLDC’s Data Protection Officer. You will coordinate LLDC’s transparency reporting requirements and implement and maintain processes and procedures that deliver the effective management of electronic and paper records, and act as LLDC’s Data Protection Officer.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop their skills in Information Governance as part of small team with varied responsibilities who support the delivery of an exciting regeneration programme.
You will have solid excellent information governance skills including experience in dealing with Freedom Of Information’s and Environmental Information Regulations’ and managing electronic and paper records. You will have a excellent understanding of relevant FOI, ERI and Data Protection Act legislation. You will demonstrate good strong awareness of public sector information security requirements and controls, and information risk management. You will thrive in a demanding and rewarding role which involves interactions with multiple internal and external stakeholders. This will be supported by your excellent communication, organisation and programme management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be committed to valuing diversity and inclusion and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
