Description:

Company Description
It all started in sunny San Diego, California in 2004 when a visionary engineer, Fred Luddy, saw the potential to transform how we work. Fast forward to today — ServiceNow stands as a global market leader, bringing innovative AI-enhanced technology to over 8,100 customers, including 85% of the Fortune 500®. Our intelligent cloud-based platform seamlessly connects people, systems, and processes to empower organizations to find smarter, faster, and better ways to work. But this is just the beginning of our journey. Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone.
Job Description
This position shares similarities with a Linux Administrator and System Administrator, focusing heavily on operational work and systems engineering.
This role also involves working with Security Architecture and ServiceNow product teams to design and deliver secure cryptographic infrastructure at scale.
Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Can figure things out. You will have documentation and many peers to turn to for help, but your work will touch many interconnected systems and technologies - too many to rely solely on the knowledge of others. To succeed you will need to investigate and discover on your own.
  • Is comfortable building and maintaining infrastructure in an on-premise Infrastructure-as-Code environment, as virtual machines and containers.
  • Enjoys designing, authoring, testing, and debugging code in a popular systems language such as Python or Go. You should also have experience writing test specifications and understand the fundamentals of test automation.
  • Has a working understanding of related infrastructure concepts such as IP networking and network security.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience of security protocols, practices, and technologies and/or CISSP credential.
  • Open to exploring options in infrastructure security and DevSecOps.
  • Willing to consider candidates with experience in Red Team operations.
  • Technical capabilities as follows
  • Linux Administration
  • Python Programming proficiency
  • Automation Tools: Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible for automation tasks.
  • General Security Knowledge: A solid understanding of general security principles and professional experience particularly from a defense perspective rather than an offensive (attack) perspective.
  • Splunk Experience: Proficiency in using Splunk for security monitoring and analysis
Note: This position requires the Australian Baseline Security Clearance. If offered employment, you must be willing to complete and successfully pass the adjudication process. Australian citizens currently residing in Australia for at least the past 3 years will be considered.
