    The team
    Information Technology Services provides a wide range of IT facilities and support services to ASIC. Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is part of the larger IT services team. We are embarking on major technology projects that will transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in a number of areas such as virtualisation, mobility and cloud.
    The role
    AS a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will work Ensuring efficient and effective operation and Provide day-to-day technical leadership and direction to establish, align and evolve operational standards, engineering and product support of complex Hybrid environments.
    About you
    We are looking for someone with strong people & technology leadership skills and a minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience operating and enhancing Network Services.

You have a proven track records in implementation and operation of:

  • Analyse and resolve complex hardware and software issues associated with storage and server platforms including VMWare/vSphere, NetApp (hardware & software) HPE, (OneView & blade technology), Brocade and others.
  • Demonstrated experience administering Windows environment to include Active Directory, Windows Server (2012 to 2019), RDS, ADFS in a corporate environment.
  • An understanding of DevOps (CICD) and automation tools, such as Puppet and Infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure is essential.
  • Technologies with ASIC; Azure, AWS, Microsoft Windows, VMware, NetApp, Hitachi, HPE, SCCM, SCOM, vRA, vROP, Puppet, Octopus, NetBackup, NetApp SnapCenter, Azure DevOps + more cloud technologies.
  • Storage platforms (NetApp/Hitachi), experience highly preferrable.
  • High level VMWare expertise required.
  • Relevant tertiary IT qualifications and certifications.
