Who are we looking for?

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Terraform: 3+ years of intensive usage in production environments.
• Kubernetes & EKS: 5+ years of experience, with a deep understanding of container orchestration and management.
• Linux: Master/expert level proficiency, with a comprehensive understanding of containers, networking, and OS fundamentals.
• Architecture: Solid understanding of modern architectural approaches and cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• English: Advanced level proficiency, with the ability to effectively communicate in both written and spoken English.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux systems. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across our systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Infrastructure Automation: Design and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.
• Container Orchestration: Lead the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, optimizing for reliability and performance.
• Linux Systems Management: Serve as the go-to expert for Linux systems, overseeing the configuration, security, and maintenance of servers, with a deep focus on containers and networking.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and security, to ensure infrastructure aligns with project goals and best practices.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues, leveraging your expertise in modern architecture approaches and cloud environments.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve existing infrastructure, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in infrastructure engineering, modern architecture approaches, and cloud technologies.
