MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Management & technical skills and knowledge developed through a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fully registered and practicing Engineer with relevant organisation or be eligible and willing to become a Registered Professional Engineer in accordance with the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019 within 6 months of successful appointment.
• Experience in planning and developing work programs, including monitoring, reviewing and reporting to management.
• Experience in delivering special charge scheme or community focused and funded projects.
• Highly developed analytical and investigative skills.
• Current Victorian driver’s licence.
• Qualification Check.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• You have the permanent right to live and work in Australia.
• Police check results that are suitable for this position (will be arranged by Surf Coast Shire Council).A complete international criminal history check is required if the person has worked or lived overseas for any period of time OR a complete national criminal history check is required if the person has only ever worked in Australia.

• Experience in Local Government.
