THE POSITION

As a Senior Injection Moulding Engineer, you will be responsible for developing robust and cost-effective injection moulding processes and equipment.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Developing and optimizing production processes to ensure proper functionality of the mould and its robust performance.
  • Ensuring the targeted output of plastic components that fulfill all specifications.
  • Working on projects with varying scopes, from low volumes and complex materials to extreme high-volume devices.
  • Supporting professional development in various directions based on your strengths and interests.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including our tooling group and mold maker, to have a direct input in the tool development process and achieve better results. Be willing and able to travel, including visits to suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications we value include having:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical background.
  • Solid experience with injection moulding of plastic components, proficiency in working with injection moulding cells and auxiliary equipment and robots.
  • Good understanding of physics, theoretical knowledge of the injection moulding process and an interest in developing further knowledge.
  • Experience in process optimization and systematic run-in of new tools, familiarity with process validation for medical production.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.

As a person, you are tech savvy and enjoy building expertise in injection moulding. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential in this role, making it easier to interact effectively with stakeholders from different backgrounds, both inside and outside the company.
