Your opportunity
New Relic is a leader in Intelligent Observability and we help eliminate interruptions in digital experiences.
We’re looking to hire an Account Executive (Growth Sales) to join our team in our Dublin Offices.
You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of successful Account Execs, in an environment that supports continuous improvement, learning and coaching.
You’ll get to develop and hone your sales skills, acting as a trusted advisor and helping prospects solve their business challenges through the adoption of New Relic’s leading observability platform.

What you’ll do

  • Work and proactively manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities for our Growth segment, prospecting leads from our free-tier users, and converting them to paid customers via subscription.
  • Conduct value-based discovery conversations with customers and prospects to understand their pains, and help them see the benefit of New Relic and the added value subscribing provides.
  • Forecast accurately and provide consistent pipeline and reporting.
  • Work with usage and engagement data to help shape and influence your pipeline strategy and priorities.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with marketing and other departments to better engage with your territory.
  • Work closely with demand generation to ensure streamline processes and optimise turnaround time.

This role requires

  • A successful track record in SaaS or Technology Sales.
  • Ability to execute a sales methodology that delivers results.
  • Consistency in activity levels to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Strong territory planning experience.
  • Creative communication skills, both interpersonal and presentation.
  • Ability to hold yourself accountable for your activities, successes and failures.
  • Good EQ (emotional intelligence) and able to pick up on social queues from prospects to influence, decisions, next actions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate record keeping and good CRM hygiene.
  • A desire to learn, share and continuously improve.
  • A growth mindset.

Bonus points if you have

  • A good understanding of Observability, APM, or Logging.
  • Past experience selling complex middleware solutions.
  • Formal Sales Training such as MEDDIC, MEDDPIC, Command of the Message etc.
