Description:
Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:
- Polishing of lollipop and billet samples on polishing machine
- Identification of the samples, sparking of the sample & reporting to concerned depts., through electronic media.
- Recording the data in the OES register i.e. Doc. No. QAD R.02.
- Re-calibration as per schedule , and preventive maintenance of OES & Grinding machine
- Maintaining & monitoring the stock of all OES lab consumables.
- If any abnormality is found in the analysis during the process of steel making, communicate with Asst Manager (QA & PPC).
- Maintaining & updating the ISO documentation.
- Preservation & discarding the samples.
- Maintain the house keeping in OES lab.
- Development of secondary steel samples.
- Preparation of daily production report.
- Analysis and reporting of inter-company steel samples.
