The Senior Instructional Design Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of training content, policies, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven proficiency of adult learning theory, content development, and assessment.
  • Solid professional and technical writing skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite), LMS, and eLearning authoring tools, platforms and software (i.e.., Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate).
  • Proficient at successful collaboration with cross functional teams and communicate with stakeholders from a wide range of disciplines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with e-learning standards and SCORM requirements.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company and team objectives.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changes in priority, scope, and other business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather educational requirements.
  • Lead project teams to design and develop client-facing training content and materials.
  • Collaborate frequently with subject matter experts to assist with knowledge transfer and the accuracy and quality of content.
  • Use instructional design principles and industry standard methodologies to define learning objectives and create and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led-training materials, job aids, and assessments.
  • Use e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools to build interactive and engaging e-learning modules that incorporate multimedia, simulations, and assessments.
  • Develop, test, and maintain user training materials for instructor-led training, self-paced training modules, and online training content, including interactive tutorials and mixed media courses.
  • Work with LMS administrator to ensure content is effectively deployed and represented Relativity Learning.
  • Assist with the production and management of industry, community and educational events.
  • Participate in the delivery and evaluation of training sessions when appropriate.
  • Continually grow knowledge of instructional design, technical communication, and multimedia content development.
