The Role
Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for a Senior Interior Site Coordinator to be based in Dubai on a permanent basis. Job Summary: The Senior Interior Site Coordinator will oversee the on-site implementation of interior design projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating between various stakeholders, including clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in interior design, construction, and project management, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination: Oversee day-to-day operations on-site to ensure the smooth progress of interior design projects. Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to align all aspects of the project with the design specifications and timeline. Ensure that all site activities comply with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is carried out as per design and quality standards. Address any issues or delays promptly, coordinating with relevant parties to find effective solutions. Ensure all safety regulations and protocols are strictly followed on-site. Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or queries. Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders to keep them informed about project status and developments. Organize and lead site meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Quality Control: Inspect and ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used on-site. Identify and rectify any defects or deviations from the design plan. Conduct final inspections and ensure all punch list items are completed to client satisfaction. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection reports. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the project manager and other relevant stakeholders. Document any changes or modifications to the original design plan and obtain necessary approvals. Qualifications Working Conditions Primarily on-site at various project locations. May require travel to different sites and occasional weekend or evening work, depending on project timelines. Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in interior design, site coordination, or project management. Proven track record of successfully managing interior design projects from conception to completion. Middle East experience is essential Skills: Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and project management methodologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret design plans, blueprints, and technical drawings. Proficient in project management software and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management or construction management are a plus.
