Description:

SENIOR INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION BROKER

Aon is actively seeking a Senior International Construction Broker to join our London team. The primary responsibility of this role is to boost revenue and margin by identifying and capitalizing on new (re)insurance opportunities, as well as managing the needs of existing Aon clients within the International Construction division.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

Responsibilities:

This role be primarily responsible for defending and increasing revenue and margin by developing and delivering new reinsurance opportunities as well as servicing existing clients with the International Construction team.

This includes acting as a Director within the broking team to provide specialist advice to the client and Aon Network client team responsible for:

  • Placement design including likely pricing, coverage enhancements and market capacity.
  • Negotiating the best prices and marketing drawing on existing knowledge and expertise.
  • On-going client satisfaction, retention, and profitability.
  • Developing and delivering new reinsurance opportunities and increasing revenue with existing clients.
  • Leading Client Team(s) and project groups to deliver strategic growth initiatives, responses to competitive tenders and complex, high value deals.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor for subject matter specific issues both internally and externally.
  • Reviewing and quality checking reinsurance documentation at a pre-determined stage in the process to establish whether the selected coverage accurately reflects clients’ reinsurance requirements.
