SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Appropriate academic qualifications – including GCSE English and Maths
- Safety/Logistics/Distribution/Customer related qualifications are desirable
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Previous administrative / transactional experience within a Logistics / Supply Chain / product related environment
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams
- Knowledge core systems including SAP, Ariba and warehouse management systems
- Possesses an understanding of the Supply Chain and Logistics processes, including the various buying channels and material distribution methods deployed by Cadent and other organisations
- Practical understanding of problem solving and continuous improvement techniques
- Possesses personal organisation skills, including workload management and prioritisation
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word and Visio
- Demonstrates examples of excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills (both internal and external).
- Ability to build strong working relationships with numerous stakeholders, and able to work in sometimes challenging environment
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Inventory Administrator you will be accountable for for the creation and extension of material codes across all plants in Fleet and Logistics. You’ll be responsible for monitoring stock turnover ratio across all plants in Fleet and Logistics and setting Re-order point/Min/Max levels accordingly. You will perform analysis on material usage at SKU level, advising and recommending where SKU’s should be removed from stock keeping. As well as raising Purchase Orders to satisfy demand accordingly within defined parameters, managing orderbooks and expediting purchase orders with suppliers where necessary. - Undertaking / managing key transactional processing activity for Supply Chain teams
- Provision of an effective query management service, including investigation and resolution of simple and complex queries, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to identify root causes and implement effective process improvements to avoid recurrence
- Using basic Performance Excellence tools and techniques to ensure that process performance is measured and managed effectively, relevant data collected, and that opportunities are identified, prioritised, and followed up to ensure that processes are continuously improved to provide the best possible user experience
- Production of Management Information and reporting, providing analysis and insight to support effective action planning and decision making
- Accountable for creation and review of reports and monthly trend analysis
- As required, working with stakeholders to develop our suite of management information reports, ensuring they meet business needs, and the data is captured accurately
- Support collation of KPI source data for the Power BI team generating Fleet and Logistics KPI’s on a monthly basis to support reporting of Fleet and Logistics departmental performance
- Providing support to our colleagues in Fleet and Logistics
- Identifying and where applicable implementing continuous process improvements to aid reduction of queries and or complaints
