Description:
Our Investment Governance team supports the Macquarie’s Investment Platform business (Macquarie Wrap) within our Wealth Management business. The Investment Platform business has around $120 billion in funds under administration.

What role will you play?
As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will work closely with key stakeholders to conduct and contribute to analysis and oversight of a broad range of investments and investment governance matters including the evolution of investment governance frameworks and processes. You will meet with external parties such as fund managers and research houses where relevant, to conduct investment research and due diligence, and prepare reports and insights to present to stakeholders including Senior Leaders, Investment Committees and Boards. You will understand investment themes, market events, the regulatory environment and impact on investments. In addition, provide mentorship and coaching to junior analysts in the team.
What you offer
- 5+ years’ experience with tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, economics or an equivalent discipline
- Experience in investment analysis and/or due diligence
- Ability to work independently and with a team to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience in superannuation, investment management, platforms and/or other relevant areas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand new concepts quickly with a problem-solving mindset and be able to form views which consider a range of qualitative and quantitative variablesPost graduate qualifications such as CFA will be highly regarded.
