Senior Investment Manager – Direct and Co-investment, Deeptech

Location: London / Sheffield / Hybrid Working
(Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Competitive

In this position you will focus on one of the two direct investment teams: Future Fund: Breakthrough with a particular emphasis on Deeptech investments.
You will support the Directors and Senior Investment Managers on deals and have demonstrated capability in this area. You will also be expected to work across the range of activities of BPC, working with investment colleagues based in the Sheffield and London offices, and liaising with legal, risk, finance, and external advisors.

Your primary activities will include:

• Financial and Investment Analysis
• Due Diligence
• Negotiation of legal agreements
• Financial Modelling
• Portfolio monitoring and reporting

With experience in executing venture capital investments , you will be able to demonstrate experience and understanding in co-investing alongside other funds, and working in small, agile teams. Experience of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers and of developing external networks is also essential.
