Warsaw based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month)
As a Senior IPC Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading company in online banking. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving data warehouse solutions and information systems. This role will involve developing ETL processes, enhancing reporting environments, and maintaining data integrity for critical business operations. Collaborating with other IT professionals, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions for complex business challenges in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: LEAD DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA WAREHOUSES AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS
- Develop algorithms and implement ETL processes using Informatica Power Center
- Design databases and reporting/analytical data marts
- Create, implement, and enhance BI-class reporting environments
- Oversee quality assurance of work done by others
- Test and validate IT solutions
- Develop technical specifications and project documentation
- Prepare and manage software installation packages
- Coordinate software acceptance and participate in system deployments
YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- Strong knowledge of Informatica Power Center for ETL process development
- Proficiency in RDBMS Oracle 9i/10g, particularly in database and application design
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Familiarity with software engineering concepts and development methodologies
- At least 4 years of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying ETL solutions with Informatica Power Center
- At least 4 years of experience working with Oracle database environments
- Practical experience in developing and programming data warehouses for financial, telecommunications, or similarly complex sectors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English sufficient for technical communication and documentation comprehension
