Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Daytime Monday - Friday Rotational Shift, Working between the hours of, Earliest Start 5AM, Latest finish 10PM

8 HOUR DAY

Monday to Monday standby out of hours cover 1 week in every 3 over and above daytime hours. (This will offer a stand-by remuneration fee)
Location: Hybrid, 50% travel to other airport sites if and when required
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a IT Analyst, to provide on-site support, maintenance, and fault diagnosis and to manage the resolution of any IT operational problems.

Responsibilities:

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:

  • You will be providing IT support for the operation and act as customer liaison for all IT systems impacting the BU.
  • Provide technical support to end-users for applications, hardware, and software-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving technical queries promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with central IT teams, such as networking, infrastructure, and IT service management, to ensure smooth integration and alignment of IT support services.
  • Liaise with central IT teams to assist in resolving complex technical issues that require their expertise and support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, including incident reports, service requests, and knowledge base articles.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure standardized and efficient IT support services across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and data protection measures, proactively identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in IT projects, providing local operation knowledge and support in the implementation of new systems, upgrades, or migrations.
  • During projects provide support on testing, training & defect resolution management & also capture issues during go live. To provide support to Test Managers during SIT, TAT & UAT testing phases.
  • Support IT Manager in identifying and coaching/training BU users.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance IT support services.
