Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Part of the team of Financial Operations and Agile in Intact Infrastructure Service, the Senior IT Business Analyst will be supporting the Contract & Vendor Management Specialist/Manager in the daily and long-term management activities for contract & vendor management and IS budget management within the IT Infrastructure.

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

  • Lead the end-to-end process of IS contract renewal working with key stakeholders to ensure the contract renewal on time, identify and notify renewal budget pressure.
  • Explore and provide recommendations for contract saving opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Infrastructure Services contracts, including contractual and financial information.
  • Identify and quantify potential areas for contract improvement.
  • Support the Contract & Vendor Management Specialist/Manager in strategizing for significant contract renewals & optimization.
  • Support the Contract & Vendor Management Specialist/Manager in establishing 3-year roadmap for major vendors and contracts.
  • Provide support to IS team’s contract related inquiries.

Portfolio Controller and Budget Management Responsibilities:

  • Support the kay stakeholders (IT finance, IS directors, the director of FinOps) in IS annual budgeting and monthly forecasting of FTE and operation expense.
  • Support the Contract & Vendor Management Specialist/Manager to track the financial impact of each contract renewal.
  • Support our stakeholders in the development of their forecasting capabilities in order to manage efficiently and to optimise key contracts.
  • Track and provide variance analysis of FTE and operation forecast to budget on a monthly basis.
  • Identify and provide recommendations in continuous improvement of budgeting and forecasting process.
