For our Business Unit Group IT Services, we are looking for an (Senior) IT Business Consultant (m/f/d) in Frankfurt/Höchst, Germany.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in business or information technology or comparable expertise.
  • At least 5 years of work experience as a Business Consultant or a similar role in the software development industry, preferably in R&D digitalization, scientific and/or laboratory informatics solutions.
  • Consulting experience in product selection and implementation.
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, project management, and software development with a focus on quality and user-driven solutions.
  • Fluent in English and German is advantageous.
  • Excellent process knowledge in the areas of ELN and related IT products.
  • Project management skills and capable to lead an international/cross-functional team.
  • Pro-active, team-oriented and high level of self-motivation.
  • Confident in communication and cooperation with multicultural teams.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end responsibility for business demands for ELN and other (non-ELN) R&D IT projects.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, and IT teams, to understand business requirements related to ELN implementation and adoption.
  • Plan, lead and support projects in alignment with IT project management guidelines.
  • Consult and support the business in evaluating and selecting software in other (non-ELN) R&D initiatives.
  • Manage product backlog, facilitate refinement sessions, user stories, and acceptance criteria, participate in agile ceremonies as well as providing guidance to deliver high-quality software.
  • Conduct project budgets, financial forecasts, contract negotiations, license pricing models, cost-benefit analyses.
  • Deliver projects along applicable SLA’s and define services along applicable KPI’s.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
