As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our Engineering and Projects team.
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering technical solutions and high-quality IT services to our clients. You will work primarily on complex engineering tasks and projects while serving as the escalation point for the support team on critical technical issues.
This is a dynamic position suited to an experienced MSP professional who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment and is passionate about providing exceptional support to clients.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or Similar.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with an ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues.
  • Azure AD (Identity and Access Management)
  • Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and DNS.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure setups and migrations.
  • Experience with security best practices, including endpoint protection, data protection, and user management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an escalation point for the helpdesk and support team on complex technical issues.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, including onboarding new clients, infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and security improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to Microsoft 365 environments, networking, virtualisation, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • Ensure the security and integrity of client environments by implementing best practices and maintaining a proactive approach to threat mitigation.
  • Provide expert consultation to clients on technology solutions and infrastructure improvements.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and resolutions to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and security practices to enhance service delivery.
