Senior IT Manager - LATAM

Skechers, a leading global footwear company, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr. Manager of Information Technology to oversee and manage all IT operations across the LATAM region. This critical role will be responsible for partnering with the Global IT Leadership team out of our corporate headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA, USA to drive technology standardization and compliance, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning IT strategies with business objectives. The scope of the role oversees Skechers corporate entities in Chile, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica and Brazil. The successful candidate will lead a team of IT professionals and report directly to the Chief Information Officer at the company’s headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA.

The Sr. Manager of Information Technology will play a pivotal role in implementing these corporate IT standards across the LATAM region, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability in technology solutions and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management position overseeing IT operations in a multinational or regional context.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional IT teams and projects.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal) is required.
• Willingness to travel within the LATAM region as needed.
