JOB OVERVIEW:

The Senior IT Pillar Specialist uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the IT Pillar discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the IT Pillar discipline. They solve complex problems and use their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior IT Pillar Specialist impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the IT Pillar team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies.
AVEVA AIM Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and management of AVEVA AIM On-Prem, Hybrid or Cloud environments, supporting project and operational requirements. You will work closely with the client’s projects, operations, or maintenance teams to implement and support the AVEVA AIM solution. In addition, you may also liaise with external engineering contractors, vendors, and AVEVA.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT supporting EPCI business applications as a lead or administrator
  • Experience in and understanding of Accounting (P&L, BS, Cash Flow)
  • Ability to work as a team member as well as act as a team leader
  • Have wide experience with technical experiences
  • Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong finance and accounting background coupled with a strong track record in administering and implementing EPM/Hyperion-related technology projects in large and complex environments
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and developing solutions 3DEXP Platform 201X and/or ENVOVIA V6 and several of their corresponding modules
  • Experience with Dassault PLM Enovia 3D Experience 2017
  • Advanced education (i.e., MBA or other master’s level education) preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years hands on working experience administering and standing up AVEVA AIM instances within an Owner Operator or EPC environment
  • Minimum 5 years working experience with related AVEVA products such as AVEVA AIM, AVEVA E3D, AVEVA Integration Service, AVEVA Engineering or AVEVA Information Standards Manager (ISM)
  • Definition, customization and integration of AVEVA AIM in line with functional requirements
  • Understanding of EDW (Engineering Datawarehouse)
  • Proficient in AVEVA AIM (NET) Gateways configuration and Tag Regex Patterns
  • Experience in .Net Programming, ASP.NET, C#, XML, SQL Server, SSRS reporting tools and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of EPC Project phase progression, associated deliverables for capital projects
  • Strong knowledge of Class Library concepts and principles aligning with industry standards and regulations related to engineering data management such as CFIHOS and ISO 15926 etc.
  • Working knowledge and experience with database systems such as AVEVA Dabacon and SQL

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and development of existing Hyperion Planning applications (on-prem) as the company implements EPBCS
  • Work with consultants and internal team to implement EPBCS with Financial and Project modules including business rules, substitution variables, user security model, web forms, etc.
  • Collaborate and drive strategic thinking in the development of forecasting models for large projects, metadata management, and data integration
  • Provide input for functional and technical design and then deliver on the development of those design decisions
  • Assist in SIT and UAT of various EPM application implementations
  • Work with EPM/Hyperion vendor to pursue vendor support when necessary
  • Work with business and IT teams to disposition incidents as either a bug or an enhancement and drive a regular prioritization of their respective execution
  • Define requirements in accordance with SDLC, management, and project/product scope Ensure problem statements and objectives are clearly defined
  • Ensure requirements are aligned with project scope, objectives, and strategies
  • Ensure the PLM system functionality meets the business objectives of the Design and Global Sourcing organization
  • Analyze business process flow and use case; create business requirements for any system or process changes necessary to ensure efficient and seamless operations
  • Provide weekly status updates on progress toward deliverables and milestones
  • Aveva AIM System Configuration and Customization according to project requirements
  • Develop/maintain Data model with the required class, class association, attributes based on the project requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams to define and implement project-specific class library
  • Configure AIM Gateways for data sources like documents, AVEVA Products and third-party applications (Hexagon/Bentley)
  • Configure AIM gateways from EDMS to populate meta-data along with approved/ issued document per MDR
  • Develop data completeness and quality reports using Power BI
  • Configure Query Forms as per project requirements
  • Develop automation for data publishing
  • Create PBS as per project requirements
  • Capable of handling AVEVA projects for data extraction, including a data handover as per Client’s requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering discipline teams to model and optimize data model
  • Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot issues related to Aveva AIM
  • Collaborate with other software systems (e.g., AVEVA Applications, Hexagon Applications) to enable seamless data exchange and integration, while maintaining a single source of truth
