    Fusion Consulting is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Project Leader with international experience to join our PMaaS team. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional and technical understanding of the IT Applications tower and its sub-towers, including Data Center, Workplace, SAP, MES, and Cybersecurity. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in managing complex IT projects within the pharmaceutical industry, who excels in working with international teams and demonstrates exceptional coordination and communication skills. Proficiency in German is desirable but not required for success in this role. We value a proactive, hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering effectively within cross-functional teams to drive client value.

Responsibilities:

  • Value Delivery: Lead projects with full accountability for their success, ensuring that the expected value is delivered.
  • Project Management: Oversee project planning, budgeting, scope, quality, and risk management to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with partners, working closely with Program Management and internal stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate project team efforts, providing technical guidance as needed to drive successful delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify and escalate key risks and issues to Program Management, Central PMO, and the Steering Committee.
  • Conflict Resolution & Scope Change Management: Act as the primary contact for project escalations, approving and managing scope changes in alignment with Program Management.
  • Status Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to Program Management.
  • Documentation Compliance: Ensure all project documentation complies with best practices and GxP regulations.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, working effectively with both internal and external teams.

    What we are looking for:

  • 6 to 10 years of experience managing global projects, with at least three projects in the pharmaceutical environment.

  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or Healthcare industries.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple, concurrent projects within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2®).
  • Relevant certifications, including PPM (e.g., PMP) and Agile (e.g., PSM II); SAFe Agile certification is desirable.
  • Strong group meeting facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project), as well as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Extensive experience in full lifecycle development and project management.
