SUMMARY:

Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing technical projects. The employee will provide strategic planning for program management, aligning skills and resources as appropriate. The employee will monitor, manage, and control EPH IT projects. The employee will also provide ongoing management to fulfill the program/project requirements including overseeing ongoing maintenance. The position manages the Information Technology projects, developing processes and policies to support these projects. Activities include monitoring and managing scope, construction, testing, implementation, finances, schedules, changes, resources, reports, and risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a liaison between EPH IT and affiliated vendors
  • Manages and oversees long range or multiple complex projects
  • Establishes and monitors program priorities, objectives, and procedures
  • Develops project scope, cost estimates, resource requirements
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
  • Manages project implementation to achieve project goals while controlling resources, risks, conflicts, timelines, and costs.
  • Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
  • Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
  • Facilitates project meetings
  • Participates in analysis of IT solutions
  • Performs transition management employing change management practices as appropriate
  • Maintains confidentiality on all patient information
  • Works calmly and efficiently under the pressures emergent cyber (and other) situations
  • Perform in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulatory agency standards
  • Perform in accordance with EPH vision, mission, and goals
  • Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and project/program management techniques
  • Follows all IT and EPH policies and procedures
