Lokation: Silkeborg eller Fredericia
THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a candidate with at least 3-4 years of experience within IT organizations, preferably with a focus on continuity management, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, or similar. Experience from the financial sector or working with high availability infrastructure would be an advantage.
We imagine that you have experience with the following:
- Disaster recovery and business continuity management
- Crisis management and cybersecurity
- IT testing of critical systems and scenarios
You have a technical IT background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, and you can balance deep technical skills with strategic thinking. It is essential that you can translate technical issues into concrete project goals and challenge solutions on a technical level, for example, through the critical evaluation of architectural proposals.
As a person, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and a strong communicator who can convey complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are capable of driving development initiatives and thrive in an environment with close collaboration with both colleagues and external partners.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE: STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITY AND HANDS-ON TASKS
In this role, you will be responsible for furt developing and driving Bankdata’s continuity and resilience processes. Your tasks will include:
- Translating technical issues into project goals and the ability to challenge proposed solutions at a technical level, such as critically evaluating an architectural diagram.
- Developing and executing scenarios for contingency exercises, focusing on current threats like cybersecurity.
- Taking primary responsibility for planning and executing critical tests of our systems, including data center shifts in close collaboration with suppliers.
- Maintaining ongoing dialogue with our customers to ensure their requirements are translated into actionable steps.
- Continuously improving existing continuity management processes, including the development of contingency plans and test scenarios.
- Ensuring cross-team collaboration to reduce downtime and optimize Bankdata’s operational resilience.
As a key player, you will help shape our future direction within IT continuity, both strategically and operationally. You will have significant influence on how we embed new deliveries into operations and the direction in which we evolve, in collaboration with internal and external partners. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you will have the opportunity to challenge and define best practices and technological standards that will guide Bankdata’s future.
