We are now seeking a Senior IT Technician to support our IT team. Working with the IT Support Team Leader to maintain the systems and equipment across multiple offices remotely and in person, while being the first point of contact for internal IT queries, user hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance. The role is not limited by just IT and the responsibilities will extend to other departments whenever analytical thinking and technical skills may be required.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. First response to IT issues (internal helpdesk)
  2. Project task lists administration and following up with developers
  3. Ordering hardware/licenses as required
  4. IT Maintenance/troubleshooting

  5. Research and skill development when a need arises

  • A desire for progress and innovation ·
  • Good level of IT hardware, software and network knowledge
  • An eye for detail
  • A willingness to learn all things IT and internal infrastructure
  • Analytical thinking
  • A positive, proactive attitude is required for this front-line role to handle the variable levels of workload
  • Clear communication and great phone and in person manners
  • Knowledge of corporate network structure and management would be beneficial
  • Experience in MS 365 package use and management
  • Experience in Windows 10/11 deployment, support, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Experience of Ubiquity ecosystem would be beneficial
  • MS Excel – excellent knowledge
  • MS PowerBI – good knowledge
  • MS Server OS – good knowledge
  • Android OS – good knowledge
  • Photoshop and Illustrator – good knowledge

CompTIA A+ (or equivalent experience) · CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent experience)
Role is based in our Head Office at Henham; with occasional travel to London and Witley Offices; employees need their own transport to work
