Description:

North South Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team in support of the Army Selection Board System (ASBS) program. This is a REMOTE role responsible for the development and implementation for updates to existing software.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) development tasks and peer review for the ASBS Project.
  • This position will focus on full stack development with adherence to styles and attention to detail.
  • They must be an excellent communicator, problem solver, and actively independent thinker.
  • The selected candidate must be able to work as part of a team and be willing to mentor others.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must have a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Candidate must have CompTIA Security+ or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study.
  • Candidate must have 8+ years’ experience as a software developer.
  • Candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in Java Spring Boot.
  • Candidate must have 2+ years’ experience with Angular 10 or greater.
  • Candidate must have experience in an Agile Environment.
  • Candidate must have professional certification in their profession or field of study, or willing to obtain one.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Amazon Web Services, JBOSS, Rest Services, GraphQL.
  • Prior knowledge of Military processes and procedures is welcomed.

Salary Position:

  • 165,000.00 - 175,000.00
