Description:
SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER - ONBOARDING (MILAN)
Mollie is on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our growing team in Milan, Italy.
As a Senior Java Engineer on the Onboarding domain, you’ll be a key player in delivering a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for our merchants. You’ll work closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and designers to build and maintain our new onboarding flow, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our customers. Besides delivering new functionality we are also splitting our monolith application and modernising our stack.
Responsibilities:
- Own the development of our new Onboarding flow end-to-end: From ideation to implementation, you’ll be responsible for shaping, building, testing, and measuring the performance of features that our merchants will love.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure a cohesive and user-centric onboarding experience.
- Contribute to our company-wide architecture & technology practices: We encourage you to share your expertise and contribute to our evolving tech stack, including Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform, and our internal UI library.
- Mentor and guide other engineers: We believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, and you’ll have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them grow and develop their skills.
- Challenge ideas and bring your own: We encourage a culture of open communication and collaboration, where everyone feels empowered to share their ideas and contribute to the team’s success.
