JOB DESCRIPTION

As Senior Javascript Application Engineer at Bipsync you’ll be entrusted to develop our solutions for Microsoft Windows and MacOS which include our Desktop app along with Add-Ins for Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/Reader.
Our applications use a combination of web technology (HTML/JS/CSS) and C#, and you’ll ideally have experience in both these languages. Experience with Electron would be advantageous, but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be someone who is keen to assume responsibility as they apply their own vision and experience to help us develop an essential component of our platform. This is an opportunity for someone to join an existing team in our organisation that is dedicated to native desktop & web-based Microsoft Office365 development.
You’ll need to identify innovative solutions to complex problems including data sync, API integration, and offline document access, while working with the wider Engineering team to maintain feature parity with our other applications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Core Skills: JavaScript/TypeScript, C# (.NET Framework 8.0)
• Secondary Skills: SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• A relevant technical/computing degree or an equivalent technical background.
• At least six years’ experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and shipping high quality products and features.
• Experience of working with a lean, agile approach.
