Description:
SENIOR KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS – PETERBOROUGH
As a Senior Key Account Manager with Convera, based in our Peterborough office, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Convera education clients, predominantly UK Higher Education Institutions.
Responsibilities:
As their Senior Key Account Manager, your role will include:
- Becoming a trusted partner to your clients, gaining a deep understanding of their goals and challenges and aligning Convera’s unique services and capabilities to deliver optimum value to the customer.
- Build, maintain and execute strategic account plans.
- Plan, organize and lead client meetings in line with annual/ quarterly/ monthly/ weekly engagement cycles.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and play a leading role in managing client-related projects.
Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
You should apply if you have:
Experience preferably within the Education Industry or in payments, financial services, fintech industries.
- You will come with strong B2B and solutions sales experience.
- Excellent communication/present skills across all media, and the ability to use technology (e.g. MS Office, Web Conferencing, Search Engines, Reporting tools, and Sales automation platforms such as Salesforce).
- Demonstrated success in managing clients as sales representative in a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving targets and deadlines.
- Experience managing relationships and driving revenue from existing client accounts.
- You will come with a strong understanding of consultative sales principles and be adept at executive corporate level negotiations and building long-term client relationships.
- A self-starter approach with a tenacious approach to new business acquisition.
- The ability to work autonomously in developing new business growth whilst liaising with internal account managers to effectively manage the continuitu of our customer relationships.
- Capacity to be financially astute with knowledge of business needs and concerns and the commercial impact of global news and events.
- Proven experience of working within and selling to multi-national global organizations.
Consulting, Sales Planning, Sales Strategy Development and Product management backgrounds are a plus.
