The Sales Function works with a diverse range of customers, everything from start-ups to the most well-known global corporations. We work closely with our customers to develop a clear understanding of their business context, their needs, and how our range of products can support their business objectives. Through this partnership and relationship approach, the Sales team perform at a high level and are fundamental to the ongoing growth and success of Insights.
Job Description
Join our highly successful UK & Ireland Key Accounts Team where you’ll be part of Global Sales Operations who get together annually in Europe for a weekly sales conference to celebrate successes and then discuss strategies and targets for the next sales year.
You’ll bring your brilliant relationship building skills to partner with colleagues on existing larger accounts along with your creative and proactive solutions selling expertise to develop new business. This will ideally be from the Public Sector as this is where you will have a main focus on your accounts.

This is a remote role which would benefit from you being able to get to our H/O in Dundee regularly to meet with colleagues from across the business in person, including the Exec and Senior Leadership.

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts through building customer relationships by understanding their business needs and the value Insights can bring
  • Qualify and develop new business opportunities within your portfolio of accounts from initial enquiry and building relationships to meet the client needs and enable Insights to maximise potential business opportunities
  • Nurture clients to enable long-term relationships and enhance customer loyalty
  • Work collaboratively across teams globally with a knowledge of overall business strategy and goals
  • Consistently provide a legendary customer experience thereby achieving revenue and contribution targets.
  • Plan and prioritise sales activities and towards achieving agreed business goals, maintaining contribution levels, margins and managing productivity output
  • Ensure client information is up to date and accurate by using D365 activities tools and systems
  • Manage pre and post workshop logistics, liaising closely with wider departments
  • Demonstrate value to your clients through a thorough knowledge of Insights methodology, resources, solutions, and services

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of solution selling within the public sector
  • Motivated by achieving stretch goals, with a natural drive for results
  • Proven track record in business development and account management
  • Building networks of contacts inside a client organization
  • Leveraging successes to drive additional and ongoing business in a key account
  • Strong capability and experience in Social Selling with experience in LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Nurturing yourself and your team, with an inclination to support and coach newer salespeople
  • Resilient, with a commitment to overcome barriers and challenges to achieve your goals.
  • Commitment to become a strong advocate for the value that Insights can bring to our customers.
  • Comfortable with making business decisions about account movements, and willing to adjust your own portfolio when it makes sense in the context of the channel strategy.
