REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5+ Years working as a Key Account/Senior manager in the pharma industry.
  • A Business Management degree (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Must have experience in the management of key accounts.
  • Must have experience of presenting to and engaging at senior management level
  • Results driven, with a history of delivering against objectives and targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work constructively and positively to influence and engage colleagues and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, high diligence and accuracy in work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of client businesses, enabling the development and alignment of solutions that meet both customer and company needs.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

This role will lead the key account function in UDW. The role will manage strategic & Key accounts. These accounts will have multiple outlets across Ireland. The role will be responsible for developing a win / win way of working with these customers at a strategic level and report directly to the Head of Sales. Additionally, this role will form part of the commercial leadership team for the wholesale business in Ireland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a key account strategy and way of working.
  • Create and deliver joint business plans tailored to strategic and key account customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for UDW Strategic / Key customers.
  • Build and develop professional relationships with defined client base.
  • Lead and manage complex contract negotiations including - pricing strategies, service level agreements, long- term agreements and joint business plans.
  • Define, monitor and share all commercial key performance indicators (KPI’s) within the strategic / key account customer base.
  • Engage regularly with existing customers to maximize the value and utilization of subscription and consulting service such as Pharmax (Buying Group) and ARC (Claims Management/Business Intelligence).
  • Understand and anticipate client’s information needs across a range of business functions including competitive intelligence, product marketing, market research and medical affairs.
  • Lead the on-boarding process with clients to help familiarize new customers with our service offerings and approach.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Area Managers to achieve sales and development objectives.
