As a Senior Knowledge Lawyer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our legal teams and sector groups. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative work practices and facilitating the capture and sharing of knowledge. This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with our Commercial Contracts, Digital, IP, Innovation and Legal Tech teams.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll drive and implement the knowledge strategy to efficiently capture and retrieve know-how.
  • You’ll be instrumental in driving a cultural change within the firm to capture and harness knowledge for future work.
  • You’ll embrace new technology and adopt efficiencies across the practice to ‘work-smarter’ by cutting down time to retrieve information by making it more readily available.
  • You’ll aid client development through producing publications, bespoke client training and proactively considering other innovative ways to use know-how to add value to client relationships.
  • You’ll work collaboratively with L&D to provide legal training to fee earners across the firm.
  • You’ll also provide individual lawyer support to give second opinions and identify case law.
  • You’ll work closely with the Innovation team to identify new technologies and efficiencies for the firm.
    This is a great opportunity for either an experienced Knowledge Lawyer to join the team, or for someone looking to start their journey as a Knowledge Lawyer. You’ll be supported by the Head of Knowledge and wider team to develop your skills and experience as a knowledge lawyer. You’ll be encouraged to forge your own path at Walker Morris and develop your career as a Senior Knowledge Lawyer.
    We offer hybrid and flexible working arrangements and can consider this role on either a part-time or full-time basis.
